Smart Savvy’s Terms and Conditions for Resume Writing & Career Services
By using our products and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted our pricing and services. All prices are charged in Canadian dollars.
Proofreading is your responsibility:
You are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all career documents, and for final proofreading. Please review the completed résumé carefully to ensure that there are no errors (i.e. dates, spelling of names, etc) or necessary changes. We will make these changes at no charge to you.
Revisions:
Included in the price are two revisions within a 5-7 day window. After submitting the first draft to you, you may take the resume home for review and return it to us for any corrections free of charge twice within 5 working days. Rush orders are available; please contact us for a quote.
Misrepresentation:
The client hereby agrees that any inaccurate, incorrect, or misleading information in the résumé or other materials provided to the client by Smart Savvy is not our responsibility and that the client had an opportunity to review the materials and approve the entire content prior to delivery and/or reproduction. We are not liable for any damage caused by omissions, false statements, or other inaccuracies.
Refunds:
There are no refunds offered on any of our services. Completed work will not be released until full payment is made, unless alternative billing arrangements have been made in advance. All written materials and consultation services must be paid in full. We accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Electronic Files & Disk Copies:
We provide your career documents in Microsoft Word format and PDF. We cannot otherwise guarantee the compatibility of files with your systems or that documents will retain their original formatting features. We may keep electronic or paper copies of documents indefinitely. Resume Writing services do not include writing or typing a cover letter, fax or photocopying services. However, these services are available at an additional fee.

The use of Smart Savvy’s web pages is subject to the terms and conditions set forth below (the “Terms”). Any use of such web pages constitutes the user’s agreement to abide by the Terms. We may amend the Terms at any time by posting the amended terms on this site.
Privacy
Smart Savvy takes its users privacy seriously and adheres 100% to all Canadian Privacy laws. We do not use, capture or store software for e-mail addresses, passwords, messages or any part of the e-mail’s contents. All activities are considered private and are not recorded. Smart Savvy does not provide any user information to any third party. There are places on this site, such as the Contact Form, where we might ask you for some personal information like your name and contact information. We ensure all information that you provide to us will be used only by Smart Savvy and will not be shared with any other parties.
We reserve the right to use our work (including resumes and other work prepared for you) and your questions, comments, and feedback in instructional, promotional, or other material. We will remove your Personal Information from any such work.

Electronic Communications
When you visit our website or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site.
